I had the pleasure of recording the world debut of the album for Melissa Etheridge, “The Awakening”, as it was performed live for the first time in it’s entirety. The show took place at The Hard Rock Cafe in New York City. Released November 20th, the CD/DVD contains over an hour of “making of” video shot during the recording of the studio album in Malibu, as well as, music videos from the album.

 

We used the Effanel truck (now XM Radio) for the record and I mixed it in 5.1 surround at The Village, Studio F.
