Salman Ahmad was the founder and guitarist in the band, “Junoon”. That word means “passion” and best describes the driving force behind his music. He has written a book about growing up in Pakistan, coming to America, and forging the Muslim world with the western world through rock ‘n roll. His message is timely and it reminds me of the simple message John Lennon shared so long ago: “All we are saying, is give peace a chance”.
